Brooklyn 5- FD Photo Studio

Beautiful day light photo studio with hardwood floors and large south - west facing windows. Our studio is the perfect location for capturing truly exceptional and dynamic photos, with a range of backdrops and props available to help bring your vision to life.

The open floor plan provides plenty of space for creativity. There is also a make-up area equipped with vanity lights, speakers, and Wi-Fi for your convenience. The studio also includes photography equipment and grip to meet your creative needs. This space is perfect for lookbooks, portraits, model tests, boudoir photoshoots, and dancing videos. The studio comes with 3 x Alien Bees B800 already on c-stands with available or requested light modifiers, a changing tent, a rolling cart, a makeup station vanity lights, and stools.

Cyc Wall & Repaint Info 🎨

* The cyc wall is comes as is from previous bookings(mild footprints, marks, scratches, etc) . If you’d like a fresh repaint before your shoot, we offer it for $75.

*If you are ok with it 'as is' (footprints, marks, dirt, etc) - it's free of charge, however, you will need to leave it at the same condition as you found it or we will have to charge the repaint fee.

* Repaints must be approved in advance—we’ll check availability before confirming.

* If you’re requesting a repaint, your booking must start before noon, and there can’t be another booking before yours that day.

All our spaces are booked very quickly! Availability times are VERY time-sensitive. Your booking request should include the time for set up and break down. Reservations are placed back to back. Please keep this in mind while requesting your booking. Happy (photo/video) shootings!

FREE paper backdrops for portraits!

We got lots of different colored paper backdrops at the location,

- Backdrops are FREE if you are shooting portraits and don’t roll out the backdrop on a floor, don’t step on it or damage it.

But if the backdrop got damaged anyways (wrinkled, stained, ripped, bent, etc.)  - $29.99 rate.

- One sweep (up to 6 ft on the floor) of the backdrop during the shoot that we had to cut. damaged a portion of the backdrop: left footprints, ripped, wrinkled, stained, scratched it, etc. - flat $29.99 fee.

- Several sweeps (more than 6 ft on the floor) of backdrop, had to be cut the backdrop multiple times. In such a case the client has to pay $59.

If you'd like to buy the whole backdrop or damage the whole roll – it’s $75.

Rates exclude cleaning/damage fees (billed only upon occurrence).

An additional strobe head is available at $35 (includes a strobe, a c-stand, power cord and an available light modifier).

Stage is not soundproof (there might be noise as music/speech and street sounds).

There is no way to discern the level of noise we have here from day to day, for it is never the same. It all depends on who is shooting what and of course, there is the ambient noise coming from the street/ outside (cars, music from the stage  next door) From past experience - it should be ok if you are using the mic, but again there is no guarantee. I do not recommend our studios for sound sensitive projects

Please keep in mind that there is no elevator in the building.

All surfaces are sanitized, masks and gloves are provided, hand sanitizers are located in common areas.

Flexible

Guests may cancel their Booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Booking cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the Event start time are not refundable.
